You’re experienced enough to manage infrastructures independently,
curious enough to always look for improvements,
and humble enough to know when to collaborate with a vCIO or a Level 3 specialist.
At ISM, we’re looking for a Level 2 Infrastructure Specialist to take ownership of client environments, lead technical projects, and actively contribute to the evolution of their IT infrastructures.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Manage and evolve the IT environments of your assigned clients
- Work closely with your team lead to implement technical and strategic directions
- Participate in technical assessments and identify improvement opportunities
- Execute and lead infrastructure projects, from planning through post-deployment testing
- Work in a multi-client environment where no two days are the same
- Collaborate with IT Directors on cross-functional initiatives
- Perform proactive monthly maintenance on assigned client environments
🧩What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned clients
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues involving networks, servers, and peripheral equipment
- Perform maintenance and interventions on network equipment (firewalls, switches, routers)
- Lead technical projects: installations, configurations, migrations, and upgrades
- Draft Statements of Work (SOWs) for complex projects and submit them to the team lead for validation
- Implement solutions to resolve recurring issues
- Perform critical updates (firmware, software) to ensure infrastructure stability and security
- Maintain complete and up-to-date documentation of client environments
- Support Level 1 Infrastructure Specialists with more complex tasks
- Collaborate with Level 3 specialists on major projects or technical challenges
🎯Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be perfect, but you’ll recognize yourself here:
- DEP or DEC in Information Technology (or equivalent)
- 5 to 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure
- Experience in a multi-client or MSP environment
- Ability to manage IT environments independently
- Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues
- Comfortable collaborating with both technical and strategic profiles
- Autonomous, organized, and highly reliable
- Curious, improvement-oriented, and eager to grow
Conditions to be aware of
- Willingness to intervene outside regular business hours for emergencies or projects
- Availability for on-site visits to assigned clients
💻Technical Skills
- Strong experience with server infrastructures (physical and virtual)
- Networking: DHCP, DNS, IPv4, VLAN, VPN
- Network equipment: firewalls, switches, routers
- Microsoft 365 and basic knowledge of Azure
- Modern operating systems (workstations and servers)
- Ability to support a complete SMB IT environment
