Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician

📍Networking | Monitoring | Service Continuity

You enjoy understanding what’s happening inside an infrastructure – before users even notice.
You pay attention to signals, alerts, and performance fluctuations.
You know that an unstable link, an overload, or a degraded service can quickly have a real impact on a client.

At ISM, we are building our Network Operations Center (NOC) and are looking for a NOC Technician to ensure the monitoring, stability, and performance of our clients’ IT infrastructures.

🛰️Your Impact

At the NOC, you’re on the front line of service availability.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Monitor and handle backup-related alerts
  • Take ownership of alerts, events, and logs generated by monitoring tools
  • Quickly detect anomalies and intervene to minimize service impact
  • Collaborate with the technical support team during incidents or service outages
  • Work across multiple IT environments, allowing you to continuously face new network challenges and expand your expertise
  • Respond to network or system incidents, sometimes outside regular business hours, to help limit service disruption

As the NOC is newly established, you’ll actively contribute to building its foundations and best practices.

🧩What You’ll Be Doing

  • Analyze alerts from network and system monitoring tools
  • Monitor key indicators: availability, performance, thresholds, capacity, and utilization
  • Handle escalations from the technical support team
  • Diagnose network and system incidents and perform initial corrective actions
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve incidents
  • Perform post-incident analysis to identify improvement opportunities for clients
  • Contribute to the evolution and optimization of NOC tools and processes
  • Provide Level 2 technical support when required (servers, networks, infrastructure)
  • Install and configure software, equipment, and network components
  • Perform testing following changes and production deployments
  • Document incidents, interventions, and procedures
  • Share your knowledge and contribute to the team’s skill development
